Improv of the Spirit ~ Trusting the Process!"
In celebration of her birthday, Ouida Joi and internationally acclaimed musician, Kai Eckhardt presented a very special "Improv of the Spirit" at the Oakland Center for Spiritual Living on August 7, 2013. It was an inspiring evening of totally improvised, audience participation through music, singing, chanting, spoken word, Spirit words, dancing, and MAGIC!

On May 4, 2013, the Spirit/ARTS! Improv Ensemble including Ouida Joi, Butoh Artist, Judith Kajiwara and Kai Eckhardt presented a "trans-formance" (transformative performance) with Special Guests: Sandi Poindexter, Violinist and Christine Dougherty, WaterColorist. It was an intimate evening of music, spoken word, chanting, and community building.
Spirit/ARTS! Preview & Donor Appreciation Event
Saturday, January 19, 2013 ~ InterPlayce, Oakland
On Saturday, January 19, 2013, The S/A! Improv Ensemble, Ouida Joi, Judith Kajiwara, and Kai Eckhardt held a Preview and Donor Appreciation Event. This event was to share the S/A! "Experience" with those who contributed to our $1,000 "seed fund" as required by Fractured Atlas. It was a lovely evening of "in-the-moment", totally improvised music, singing, dancing, and community-building.
